Minorities
Posted On 09/26/2009 19:51:36 by Meistroli

I listen everyday to some minority complaining.
GET a clue people!!
We are ALL minorities.
There is not a man or woman that is not part of atleast one..
This country is Made up of them..
We are White, Black, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, German, Catholic,
Prostant, Muslem, Babtist..
Hell even the American Indian is a minority..
Grow up people.. Stop acting like a petulant children..
They call America the melting pot.. As we take them all..
So it is understandable that some may not like how others think..
Oh Well.. Ever heard of the word.. TOLLERENCE!!
Even i understand we need to all work to work together..
Need to talk and understand.. To accept that there are others
in this country and their rights and views are just as valid
as your or mine..
Any one that can't figure out that we are all in this country together need to seriously rethink why you are here..
NO minority is better than another..
you are not Whatever American.. You are American whatever..
You believe or don't believe in something good, great, fine..
But if I don't agree don't force them on me..
I AM AN AMERICAN first.. Then I am whatever minority..
An trust me I am enough of them..

I FIND THAT THOSE OF US THAT HAVE TRAVELED ABROAD ARE MORE TOLLERANT OF OTHER CULTURES AND RELIGIONS AND BRING THAT PROCESS BACK WITH US WHEN WE COME HOME. HOWEVER I HAVE VERY LITTLE TOLLANCE FOR THOSE MINORITIES THAT USE THE RACE CARD AT THE DROP OF A HAT! IVE BEEN IN MID-LEVEL MANAGEMENT MOST OF MY ADULT LIFE AND HAVE HIRED AND FIRED MANY PEOPLE. THE RACE CARD HAS BEEN USED MANY TIMES AGAINST ME AND THE FIRMS THAT IVE WORKED FOR. IVE SPENT MUCH OF MY TIME IN COURT PROVING THAT IT WASN'T A RACE ISSUE THAT LED UP TO THE DISMISSAL OF A PERSON WHO IS A MINORITY. I MIGHT ADD THAT I HAVE WORKED IN PLACES WHERE I WAS THE MINORITY AND HAD MORE TOLLERANCE FOR MY COHORTS THAN THEY HAD FOR ME! Phil Lockerman esq.
