The entire Congress of the United States is , at best inept, if not corrupt. I mean both Houses and I mean both major parties; include the Independents and Socialists too. As a group, they are probably the most corrupt bunch to ever disgrace our Nation. They all need to go. Let's start over with a fresh slate. I don't care how great you believe your person is, vote them out. Most everyone thinks their Representative or Senator is one of the good guys; it the other people's representatives which are the problem. Please, the only way to take our country back is to get rid of the whole bunch. Now, here's the plan: In November of 2010 the entire House of Representatives will have to stand for re-election; all 435 of them. One third of the Senate, a total of 33 of them, will also stand for re-election. We The People must vote every incumbent out. And I mean every one of them. No matter their Party affiliation. Let's start all over in the House of Representatives with 435 people who have absolutely no experience in running that body, with no political favors owed to anyone but their own constituents. Let's make them understand that they work for us. They are answerable to us and they simply have to run that body with some common sense. Two years later, in 2012, vote the next third of the incumbents in the Senate out. You'll know who they are because their names will be on the ballot and, in most cases, will be shown as the Incumbent. If you don't know who your Senators are, (there are only two for each State) find out. And then vote them out, too! We The People can do the same thing in 2014 and, by that time we will have put all new people in that body as well.
We The People must take this Country back and we must do it peacefully. That's what the Framers of our Constitution envisioned. Please, if you love our country, send this to absolutely everyone on your contact list. We The People must prevail. Dave Skibowski WE THE PEOPLE We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." The Constitution of the United States was written to set forth the precepts by which "We the People" could live without the cloud of tyranny hanging over our heads. It was written to establish a country, and the government of that country where "We the People" could live in, and enjoy, the comforts of Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of Happiness. Over most of the past hundred years the people we send to Washington DC have been steadily and surely undermining those precepts. It is time for "We the People." to again become the cohesive force we were when our brave Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence and established the Constitution of the United States. - "We the People," are responsible.
- "We the People," employee everyone who works for the Government of the United States.
- "We the People," supply all of the money the government taxes from us and gives to other people and countries.
- "We the People," pay ALL the taxes, whether individual or corporate.
- "We the People," are responsible for who we send to Washington.
- "We the People," are responsible for what we allow them to do.
- "We the People," can continue to allow the government to run over us and steal from us, or
"We the People" can truly become "WE," THE PEOPLE, and take our country back from the Republicans and the Democrats, and the Independents, or what ever else those inside the Beltway call themselves.
