One mans opinion of the Tea Party Convention
Posted On 02/06/2010 08:03:36 by mas1az

Well, the first Tea Party Convention is taking place and I have to say, even though I'm not there, I'm very pleased by one aspect of it that was mentioned on Fox News.

The Tea Party has no leader.  That is awesome, for if they continue forward without a leader and accomplish anything substantial, like getting 20 candidates on the 2010 ticket in November, then this country alone in that arena is heading in the right direction.

I know they have more days to go on there first Convention, but the only thing that didn't sit at first was hearing that they threw a dinner at $500.00 a plate to raise money.  Why five hundred dollars?  Why not less, like twenty five dollars or such.  They said that 600 people paid or showed up.  That's thirty thousand dollars.  Now, I'm not knocking it, but can't you see that if the first convention is 500 what will the second convention cost if they throw another dinner for raising money?  Thirty thousand dollars is a drop in the bucket compared to what Dems or Rep. candadates have at disposal.  I think this stab at regaining freedom from the Government should involve freedom also from the old ways of doing politics.  For politics is politics no matter how one covers it up with a name.  I think each state should have a tea party Convention that is free to the people who wish to particapte, and who represent their area in the truths that concern their own area which represents the whole as one.

What I sense happening, falls in line with the other two parties Money, money, money.  How long until you pick a leader and how much will he get paid?  See where I'm coming from with this.  I'm not discouraging anybody from doing what they think is right, but this tea party movement has an opportunity to follow a different path and not the same old same old.

I know I'm only one man and my opinion  means very little if nothing at all, but aren't you going down the same road our fore  fathers did, and has gotten us to where our Government is now?

I've said this more than once and that is, money buys money.  The movement not wanting a leader is a good start.  Why can't the movemnet be based around truth which is free and of God, and leave the money out?

I know you all may think I'm a kook.  And compared to the ways of the world, I am.  God gave our forefathers this country for free and yet free is far from the agenda.  What's that saying in the Bible, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."  You all have an opportunity to follow Jesus in his ways, and instead you following the ways of the world around you.  Slow down, and find your faith in God and not money.  Get back to the raw roots of where freedom comes from.  God.

Think about it.  Try to be different.  Try to be unique.  Try to be truthfull and don't become another money machine to run the people over who don't have the money.  Who represents them,  The democrates, who use the poor as a levy on the rich, or the republicans, who support some freedoms up to a limit tied to patriotism and ones ability to work and do for themselves.  Or should you be for all throughout this country who likes truth and freedom over politicis, no matter how you serve it up to them.

As I've said many times on this website, find common folk who's lives are simple and unobtrusive to those more complicated than theirs.  Find those who are truthfull for free and can't be bought.  What truth should this tea party follow.  Man's truths that follow the world that we now live in, or Gods, truth, that follows Gods truths, that are not separated by any religion or ideaology.  May it be on truth, Gods truth and not on the God of revenge, pride, class, or judgement, but truth so rare that the majority who join will know from within that this movement is not just to take back this country, but redefine God, as God intended us to find him.  Truth in all things of God not the world, for the world follows money.  Think about it.  Then tell me I'm not right.

I know the saying you must fight fire with fire.  Well truth has been around a lot longer since the beginning of man.  Yet, there are many truths in the world, that greedy men have created for all the right reasons, that has narrowed down to what we have today.

I say for all to think of what truth, that can be laid forward that the Dems or the Republicans have lost and follow it.  Yes, to stay within the Constitution is a good start, but shouldn't we go back further than that and say, the Ten Commandments?

Open up your heart and minds to God, and understand his commandments from his view and not the worlds and you will see a path with very few footsteps on it, for Gods ways are are not mans ways.  Think about it.  Thinking is free and so should this movement become free.  Free of all the barriers that have been thrown up since Adam and Eve found themselves out of the Garden of Eden and became a part of this earth, that God gave freely to all who followed.

Man set up prices and obstacles that deter and offend.  Jesus said, That there shall be one flock and one shephard.  Though this is not a religious movement, why not follow in line and be that flock and let that shephard be God.  If you stay within those narrow guidelines, you may see something that the world lost years ago and man has just gotten further and further away.

God bless any who can read this and not be offended and may a light shine on a truth, you've never considered.  Truth of pure freedom given to all through a Loving and forgiving God where money plays no part in his world.  Remember, the Lords' Prayer.  "Thy shall be done on earth as it is in heaven."  If you believe heaven is run with money, than think again.  This is an opportunity of a lifetime to change as never before.  Think about it.

God bless

Frank

The one and only time I spent in Las Vegas I stayed at Ceasars Palace. While there I overhear a conversation with a department manager and a well to do patron who had some trouble with the hotel's scheduling of a limo for him. These words came out of the managers mouth and I've never forgotten them "well it's money...and that's what it's all about"! On this earthly realm that our CREATOR has provided for us the deparment manager's words are very sad and true. It seems that man's propensities are to exclude from the decision making those that have very little money or none at all. I would hope that this not be the case of the Tea Parties convention taking place this week. The media(s) is already putting their own "spin" on the conventioneers .....many M.S.M. making them seem like wierdos or radicals. One news organization even went as far as to show a woman on bent knees praying making her seem like a radical religious nut case. GOD only knows this country and world needs all the prayers it can get ! I concur with you Frank....it would be a great idea for the individual states to have their own Tea Party conventions. It could be a yearly thing held outside in the good old summer time like in days gone by. People could bring their children, picknicks, BBQ's....making it a serious but fun event that all could enjoy and where memories could be made and new friendships could be found! Make it a free event but allow those willing and with enough money to donate to the cause. Those monies could help clean up after the event. Such events held around the country could help bolster the coffers of the cities that they are held in during these economic depressed times. These events could be held in a different city in each state each year....helping out many towns busineses. Just think of thousands of people showing up in various towns across this nation....people of all races, all religions and of all political persuasions....what message would this send to OUR nations capitol?.....PHIL
